When an interior designer had a much traveled contemporary fine art collector client with a passion for all things Italian, she remembered a DC gallery’s solo exhibition of my work which featured a suite of images of water reflections on the canals in Venice. After reviewing the WATER IMAGES portfolio online and narrowing the choices, subsequently both the designer and her client came to my studio to view the work in person. I am delighted to announce the acquisition of UNTITLED #1, VENICE, an image of gently moving, sensuous water reflections creating an abstract composition with patterns, shapes and organic earth tones in ochre, brown, terracotta, white and blue.
