Acquired by Ritz-Carleton, Marina del Rey, CA

I am very, very pleased to know that two of my mages from the Night Lights Suite have been acquired by the Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, CA, for their guest suites and rooms. I have always appreciated the sophisticated aesthetic of Ritz-Carlton hotels and so I am particularly delighted that NIGHT LIGHTS SUITE #2, POINT OF ORDER and NIGHT LIGHTS SUITE #4, PONT DU MARCHÉ #2 met their criteria for fine art for their property.

I found Meaux, a city built by a bishop in the fifth century, an important market center since medieval times and the site of a strategic World War I battle (the first Battle of the Marne, which saved the capital city of Paris from capture) a seriously interesting place to explore.. I had arrived earlier in the day. Toward evening, I was watching Meldois parade at the end of a festival from across the canal when I became intrigued by the shapes, colors and particularly the mood of reflections on the still water cast by town street lights and ornamental lamp posts from the nearby Pont du Marché (bridge).
