NEWLY ACQUIRED by Las Vegas, NV, art dealer for client

Happy to announce that a Las Vegas, NV, art dealer has newly acquired THE SIREN, a reflection on gently moving water of buildings along a canal in Venice, for his client. The flow of the water created sinuous forms out of which seemed to emerge a mysterious face in this through-the-lens abstract image.

When I was in Venice documenting the daily life of a sixteenth century campo, or town square, on Dorsoduro, I discovered after a couple weeks of reviewing the processed slides that I had almost as many images of water reflections on the canals I passed going each day to and from my residence to the square. THE SIREN became one of my favorite of such images because it felt as if a water spirit, an apparition, was urging me to focus my efforts on reflections. Accordingly, I did, and that aesthetic became the basis of my fine art WATER IMAGES exhibition portfolio.
